A room on the 8th floor is recommended with confirmed views from room 802 (7th and 8th are Club Floors). This room looks directly down 15L and today 33R departures have come right over the top but this mainly limited to MIL, the odd biz and a couple of Fly Dubai. 33L departures can be seen off to the right above the buildings. Also Arrivals on 33R can be seen as the line of sight looks right down the runway which is a mile+ away. In clear conditions the airport can be seen with airlines identied through binoculars landing on the far 33L. |

Ask for a runway facing room. Unfortunately there are two parallel runways, one is out of site so it is down to luck on the day how many movements you will see. There is a remote, overspill apron in front of you which has both stored aircraft and occasional active flights. |
