The 7 days premium hotel is located opposite the terminal building and is an easy 2 minute walk away. Leipzig Airport is the main European hub for DHL and has well over 100 arrivals a night midweek. The arrivals generally start at 2200 and continue until 0200. Leipzig is less than 90 minutes train journey from Berlin so can be easily combined with a trip to see those elusive freighters.

High level rooms at this hotel look out over to the freight runway and also cargo apron so nothing will be missed. Rooms 512 to 525 have confirmed views over to the DHL ramps.

The airport also has a 24 hour viewing deck literally over the road from here on the top level of the admin block for a 2 euros fee (turnstile entry). The viewing area gives similar views as from the room but is slightly nearer to the action.
