| Hotel Crystal Beach | ||
| in the quiet resort of Kalamki is ideally situated for spotters. The brochure describes the resort as one that can suffer from aircraft noise up to 10pm. Aircraft normally call the tower frequency approximately 15 minutes before arrival and then route to overhead the airfield before routing over the bay for landing on runway 34. This gives ample opportunity to get off your sunbed and get into a position to read the registration. The hotel is only 15m to the beach and just 200m to the nearest restaurants and nightlife. | ||

There is a good point for photos at the holding point for runway 34 just 10-15 minutes walk from the resort, where the sun is behind you until mid afternoon. Remember you are in Greece so exercise caution.

| is a small hotel (33rooms) set in the resort of Kalamaki. Again this resort is known to suffer from aircraft noise. The hotel is 500m to the sandy beach, restaurants and bars with great views of the local countryside. | ||
