The Mercure Nice CAP3000 is a 2 star hotel just 1km from the airport, situated directly opposite the CAP3000 shopping centre and only a five minute walk to the rocks on the beach. The hotel is connected with a free shuttle bus to the airport. The hotel also features a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool.

Location *** No reported views from the hotel, however its proximity to the beach, near the threshold of runway 04R and 04L, makes this hotel very appealing.

Spotting ** Great views are available from the nearby beach

Photos ** A wide range of biz-jets and airliners can be snapped from the beach.

Hotel-gril Campanile Nice Airport   

Situated across the road from the control tower and old Air Littoral commuter aprons this hotel is in an excellent location for viewing the movements at this busy airport. Ideal for spotting from the room.

Location *** Excellent. Free airport shuttle to the terminals which are only 56 minutes away.

Spotting *** Ask for a high level room overlooking the runways (503/5/7 or 509 or 511 are highly recommended. From here most of the jet airliners can be read off although the odd commuter aircraft may turn off early and be missed.

Photos ** A 200-400 lens will get you pictures of 737's and above using the taxiway across the road although ground clutter is at times a problem.
