The hotel has six floors so as usual it is a good idea to ask for a room on a high floor with an airport view. Anyone who doesn’t get a room with a decent view should not be disappointed as there is always the excellent viewing deck to compensate. | ||

Report 1 Staying at the Haneda excel hotel at the moment in room 3116 on 3rd floor, you can only see arrivals on one of the runways and they are hampered by buildings, anything landing on the back runway you wont see but some do taxi round. The best thing to do here is go to one of the observation decks on the terminal. There are 3 terminals and each have an observation deck, terminal 1 seems to be the better deck. As for the hotel, rooms are ok but quite small, breakfast is buffet and evening meal is menu but its quite expensive. This hotel is right on the end of terminal 2 or the domestic terminal so there are many food outlets 5 – 10 minutes walk away. Credit Andy Kelly High level rooms on floor 3-5 ending *241 and *242 are reported to have views of one of the All Nippon aprons and runway. Departures and arrivals off the new runway can also be seen from this room, flight tracking is required for tie ups from this runway. Only the other parallel runway which serves the International terminal cannot be seen from the room. |

Royal Park Hotel Latest Update 2019
Is situated on the International Terminal at Haneda. This is advantageous as the International Terminals viewing deck offers the best views of all of the runways at Haneda. From this viewing deck all of the runways can be monitored. This Hotel is now the favored hotel for spotting at Haneda.
Runway facing rooms from high level rooms give great views out over both the International Terminal and also the near side of the JAL terminal on the other side of the runway. Movements off all runways can be seen, flight tracking is required for the furthest parallel and new runway in the distance.
Photography through glass should be possible from the room however better possibilities are found only a short walk away on the official viewing deck.
Room 834 in the video below demonstrates the views (do not select a Mount Fuji view room as these are on the wrong side og the hotel)
