| Spotting: | * | All aircraft on approach into Venice Marco Polo at approx height of 1500feet can be clearly seen descending over rooftops and canal on final approach. Windows of room open inwards allowing distant photographs to be taken. Stayed in room 220 which is a very modern well appointed room facing onto canal and all landing traffic can be seen. If booking ask for room on 2nd floor facing onto canal and should not be disappointed. SBS is a must for identifying the aircraft. If you exit hotel and turn right and walk to end of canal good landing shots can be had with a 300-400 lens. |
