The hotel is situated on a 3 mile final to runway 05R enabling inbounds to be seen clearly from the hotel. Almaza Air Base (Egyptian Govt Gulfstreams etc) can also be seen from the hotel as it is less than a mile away, again SBS would probably be needed to identify bizz movements from here. The hotel is also situated under one of the main north south airways running across Egypt therefore overflights are common for those with SBS boxes. |

Even numbered rooms on the 6th,7th or 9th floors ending in 02-16 will give views of the 05R approach through a large gap in high rise buildings opposite the hotel. Inbounds fly past at around 1400 feet, in the event that aircraft are departing towards the hotel they pass by at around 3000 feet.Any movements to the Almaza Air Base (Egyptian Govt Gulfstreams etc) should also be seen from the above hotel rooms, again SBS would probably be needed to identify bizz movements from here.The hotel is also situated under one of the main north south airways running across Egypt therefore overflights are common for those with SBS boxes.
